Clitarchus hookeri
An NZ common green stick insect baby (instar), in my back yard, KIlbirnie Wellington. It was really tiny and I found it standing on our wooden fence for hours, before I finally decided to move it from there and place it on my neigbour's tree...It walked all over me...I had spotted a large female few months ago in my garden, I wonder if it's one of her babies :) http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/148...

Dear @Maria dB, I like the 2nd pic too, but with the first one, I show better the tiny size of that baby stick insect :)

Thank you dear @Ava T-B :)
Nice series.
The most common color is the green, but they might turn in to brown or red too...
Do they turn brown when they grow up?
Yes, isn't it adorable? I think I spotted it's mom, few months ago :)
Thank you for the comment, dear @YukoChartraw :))
