Cream Wave

Scopula sp.

Description:

A species of geometrid moth. The name Cream Wave suits it perfectly! Small moth with mostly white, creamish coloration with wavy patterns. Also there is a black dot at the center of each fore and hind wing. The genus Scopula is quite diverse and it might take me forever to find the exact species also this one I photographed had his left wings almost half gone!

Habitat:

Found outside at night, resting on a leaf.
