Description:

Typical Geometrid caterpillar (inchworm type body). Grey and black lateral stripes with two bright orange stripes on the dorsum and orange spots on the side. Knocked out of the trees by the wind and rain. Probably feeding on Oak.

Habitat:

Sears Bellows County Park, New York. Wooded campground area.

Notes:

Possibly my favorite caterpillar of the camping trip.
