Away From Home - North West United States
Document your spottings of "foreign" species with photos and notes. Not for captives or cultivated species, but for releases, ferals and wandering species. Please note whether the specie arrived under its own power, or if man released(if known). Global warming is but one reason for species to begin expanding territory

Snowyowls wintering(and summering) further and further south. Caracaras and great tailed grackles moving north. Climate change, man's restructuring of the eco-system and other events cause this phenomenon. This mission focuses on spottings of species(gems or invasive pests) that are outside of their home range. Document how our world changes and grows smaller as species leave their home range to settle in new locales. I would like to see this become a global mission, and it can, if we can grow it in our region of Pacific Northwest Coast
